Melody & Metronome
CLIENT // Melody And Metronome
DESIGN CHALLENGE //
The client was beginning a new business venture providing supervised practice services for young musicians (5-12 years old). The services were segmented to Upper Middle-Class families, dual income families, and targeted towards working females. Branding needed to be friendly, children-oriented, imply musical services, and suggest an element of child care.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION //
DESIGN // Logo
Concepting began with sketches with the client. The idea of combining masculine and feminine in the typefaces used. A legible script font was chosen for “Melody” and a clean sans-serif was chosen for “Metronome”. The “and” transformed into an ampersand, as it became reminiscent of a treble clef. The color palette of Corals and a Steel-Grey-Blue were chosen to further enhance the masculine/feminine dynamic in a playful nature.
ADDITIONAL DESIGN // Business Card
For the business card, we chose the metronome logo, for its playfulness. See the completed business card here.
